During a fine day in March, 2010, PhotoShip One in collaboration
with Copter Studios was able to provide aerial footage for
Discovery Channel’s“Mythbusters” TV program at Mare Island Naval
Shipyard near San Francisco. The helicopter used was our HALO
equipped with a Meridian II 3 axis camera gimbal. The HALO was
equipped with a DJI XP3.1 Autopilot system.
We’ve received word that Mythbuster’s has asked CopterStudios to
come back for another session. Let’s hope it becomes a regular gig
for Copter Studios!
