NOTE - THE VR OBLIQUE IS AN ACCESSORY FOR THE VR360. IT IS NOT A GENERIC USE CAMERA GIMBAL.
The VR360 Carbon camera mount is designed natively as a Spherical Panorama Camera Mount and thus comes with a portrait mode camera bracket.
The VR Oblique allows you to orient the camera in landscape mode for oblique photography and video. The VR Oblique has a 5:1 gear reduction servo drive on tilt axis that is capable of being stabilized with a Futaba 401 gyro or IMU (when available). Also, the VR Oblique has oil damped gravity tilt and roll compensation for keeping your horizon level while hovering into wind from any direction. It is capable of containing a camera as large as a Canon 5D or Nikon D300, however, smaller point and shoot cameras work great as well!
VR Oblique is available in Carbon Fiber or black G10.
Installation of the VR Oblique is a simple 1 minute process. A few set screws are loosened, the pano bracket slides off the 6mm roll shaft and the VR Oblique slides on. Check out the video below showing how to install the VR Oblique onto a VR360.
